Joi Coleman is a lead user experience designer at Booz Allen Hamilton who has worked on major contracts with USPS.com and the Veterans Administration. She brings her expertise to the United States Postal Service’s suite of consumer web applications and the VA Innovation Unit. After graduating from Howard University in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Biology, she spent 5 years in molecular technology research with GlaxoSmithKline in the Philadelphia suburbs while freelancing as a graphic and web designer. She returned to the DC area in 2011, accepting a position with the Digital Solutions team at the White House. She served two presidents as a digital product manager and user experience lead.
